What kind of Essential Oils are used in your products?

We use only premium quality, GC-MS tested, certified Organic Essential Oils from a prominent, reliable, well-respected supplier based in the United States. Every oil is certified pure to ensure no impurities, contaminants, or diluents are present before use.

How frequently can I use my SniffElixir nasal inhaler?

Realistically, as often as you like. We recommend 2-3 long slow "sniffs" in each nostril every 2-3 hours. You may prefer to use yours more or less often. It's important to know what suits you.

How long can I expect my SniffElixir nasal inhaler to last?

Many variables come into play here, such as frequency of use, where it is stored, how it is stored, etc.. but as a general rule, you should expect 3 - 6 months of useful life out of any of our nasal inhalers.

Why do you recommend storing your nasal inhalers away from heat and direct sunlight?

Heat from sunlight or other sources can consequently affect the constituents of the essential oils and therefore reduce their therapeutic effectiveness. Since all essential oils are unique, the temperature at which degradation can occur varies. We recommend storing our nasal inhalers below 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Room temperature storage is perfectly acceptable.

Will cold or freezing temperatures affect my SniffElixir nasal inhaler?

While we don't recommend storing our inhalers below freezing for extended periods, colder temperatures will not harm essential oil constituents.

Why the name SniffElixir?

Well, the word Sniff is a verb meaning "to drawn in through the nose," and Elixir is a noun defined as "a magical or medicinal potion." It made perfect sense to us!

Do you plan to offer more types of nasal inhalers or other essential oil products in the future?
